The Crafty Dragonfly is my small willow art practice in rural Bedfordshire, where I create handwoven pieces inspired by nature, story, belonging and remembrance. I work mainly with British-grown willow and natural, gathered and seasonal materials, creating pieces for the home and garden as well as relaxed, small-group workshops.

I create original handwoven willow pieces for the home and garden, from wreaths and dragonflies to more unusual pieces inspired by the seasons, nature and story. Each is made by hand, so no two are ever quite the same.

Join one of my seasonal workshops, gather your own little group, or book a private workshop for two in my garden studio. No experience needed. Willow for remembrance
I create handwoven willow pieces for remembrance, whether for your home or garden, a graveside or memorial space, or to accompany the scattering of ashes somewhere special. Pieces can be kept, placed somewhere meaningful, or allowed to weather naturally and gently return to nature.
I can also work with you to create a piece yourself in a private remembrance workshop.

A workshop at my home
Join me in Riseley, Bedfordshire, for some hands-on willow weaving. Get in touch to chat about what you’d like to make and arrange a suitable session. I currently run workshops for a variety of size and style wreaths, willow hearts, small dragonflies, and table decorations and hanging racks in the form of tension trays.
